The “100 Best Goods of Russia” Competition is one of the most prestigious quality contests in Russia.
The Saint Petersburg Paper Mill – Branch of Goznak has participated in the “100 Best Goods of Russia” Competition since 2007. All kinds of paper the mill submitted to the competition have already been added to the list of 100 Best Goods of Russia – drawing paper of “A” type, painting paper of “A” type and, of course, the traditional laureate – paper with watermarks that has won the title five times already.
This year the Saint Petersburg Paper Mill has submitted drawing paper of “A” type and branded paper with watermarks again.
Drawing paper of “A” type known all over the world as “Goznak’s Whatman” suits drawing and graphic works with pencil, Indian ink and watercolors ideally. Its peculiarity is that it does not change its surface characteristics even after many erasures.
The paper is produced with the weight of from 170 to 200 g/m2, in webs and sheets of all necessary sizes from A1 to A4. The web diameter and width can be set according to the customers’ wishes.
Branded paper with watermarks (“Pyramide”, “Trilistnik”, “Snezhinka”, “Lilia”, and “Impulse”) is designed for printing various document forms. It suits business correspondence, branded forms, letters, invitation cards, menus and presentation materials perfectly.
The paper suits offset printing using laser and inkjet printing devices; it can also be used in copy machines. It is produced in webs and sheets of A4, A3 and other sizes depending on the customers’ wish, with the weight of from 70 to 120 g/m2, white or toned.
The winners of the regional stage will take part in the all-Russian final competition that will take part at the end of the year. The winner of it will be entitled to apply the easily recognizable brand of “100 Best Goods of Russia” Program to his products for two years. In the experts’ opinion, application of the competition brand to products increases their sales by 10 – 25 %. However, the expert confirmation of the best quality of the product or service is even more important.
