The coin design was developed by the artists of the Design Center of Goznak. The authors of the coin reverse design were A. Baklanov and A. Brynza. F. Andronov modeled the reverse side. The author of the obverse of all the coins of the Sochi 2014 programme was E. Kramskaya, it was modeled by A. Dolgopolova.
