In the spring of 2020, the History of Money Museum announced another – the third conference in October. The conference program and the information package were prepared during the summer. In September, due to the aggravation of the epidemic situation, it was decided to hold the conference online using Zoom platform.
On October 14 – 16, the participants heard and discussed 60 reports dedicated to various issues of the Russian numismatics and bonistics. Topical sessions were called “The coin production history”, “Buried treasures. Coins in archaeological monuments”, “The banknote production history”, “Circulation and existence of coins and banknotes before 1914”, “Circulation and existence of coins and banknotes after 1914”, “Artefacts of numismatics, bonstics and phaleristics in museum collections”. Besides, because the Third International Conference “Money in the Russian history. Issues of production, circulation and existence” has taken place during the year of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic war, there were reports related to military topics at one of the sessions.
