The Moscow Printing Factory of Goznak is starting to ship stamps for beer.
Goznak together with the Federal Service for Alcohol Market Regulation has taken part in the experiment of marking beer and low-alcohol beverages with special stamps.
The experiment takes place within the territory of Tatarstan. 100 beer manufacturers determined by the State Inspectorate of the Republic of Tatarstan are taking part in it.
According to Vitaliy Korshunkov, a task leader of the Customer Relations Division of Goznak, Goznak has produced and agreed with the State Alcohol Inspectorate of the Republic of Tatarstan a sketch project of the special stamp “beer and beer products”.
“Besides”, Vitaliy Korshunkov noted, “Together with the Federal Service for Alcohol Market Regulation and the State Alcohol Inspectorate of the Republic of Tatarstan, we have developed a framework agreement for the production and delivery of stamps to the experiment participants. Contracts for the supply of stamps are now concluded with the manufacturers of beer and beer products”.
The experiment started on April 1, 2020. By that moment, Goznak had developed the procedure of recording data about the shipped stamps in the Unified State Automated Information System and produced the first experimental lot of stamps.
According to Vitaliy Korshunkov, 15 contracts have been concluded already; stamps under the first requests will be shipped before April 10.
“The set of security features of the stamps has been developed by the specialists of Goznak. The stamps have been printed on security paper with the application of special printing methods and traditional security elements”, the specialists of the Directorate of the New products Development of Goznak explained.
Valentina Yushina, Deputy Director of Production of the Moscow Printing Factory of Goznak said that 1.5 million of stamps have been printed at the Moscow Printing Factory. The volume is preliminary and is limited with the framework of the project. The stamps are produced on a new web printing machine recently installed at the Moscow Printing Factory of Goznak.
“The printing volumes of the Moscow Printing Factory are more than enough to provide not only the region participating in the experiment but all the regions of Russia with the beer stamps”, Valentina Yushina emphasized.
Stanislav Lapshin, the Head Technologist of the Moscow Printing Factory, explained that the technological process of the production of the special stamp “beer and beer products” on the whole is similar to the ordinary process for all the rest of stamps for alcohol products.
