The Moscow Printing Factory of Goznak produced loose-leaf calendars for 2020
In spite of the fact that the Russians switch to the electronic planning tools, Goznak’s desk calendar remains an unfailing important attribute for many customers of Goznak and other citizens who do not wish to part with the customary loose-leaf calendar.
One can see Goznak’s calendar on the desks of both top managers including the President’s Administration and average executives, as well as on home desks.
According to the Deputy Head Technologist of the Moscow Printing Factory Elena Mishina, they did not even choose the topic for the 2020 calendar – the most important event in the country will be the celebration of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic war. The calendar is dedicated to the Victory too.
The inner calendar pages have a guilloche grid in accordance with the tradition. The pages are printed with four inks. The guilloche grid is printed with two inks, and the text is printed with the two other inks.
The cover is offset printed with triade inks. It is decorated with silver foil and varnish.
According to the Head Artist of the Moscow Printing Factory Nadezhda Golovanova, the artists of the Moscow Printing Factory have depicted the Order of the Victory against the background of May blossom and St. George’s ribbon symbolizing the Day of Victory in the Great Patriotic war.
In the artists’ idea, the image of a veteran and a girl personifies the deed of warriors for the glittering future of the next generations and grateful memory of the descendants who walk in the Immortal Regiment across Russia on May 9 every year.
All the calendar authors are listed in the calendar. The main author of the sketch is Glafira Sokolova.
