An award of merit for the Fatherland
On April 14, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev presented state awards to three distinguished workers of Goznak at the session of Collegium of the Ministry of Finance.
According to a decree signed by the President of the Russian Federation, Raisa Likhatskaya, head of a workshop of the Moscow Printing Factory, Vladimir Lebedev, printer of the Moscow Printing Works and Sergey Zhunaev, head of a section of the Moscow Mint of Goznak were awarded with the medal of “Order of Merit for the Fatherland” of the 2nd Class. All the three awardees are among the unique and highly professional specialists of Goznak.
Raisa Likhatskaya, a head of a workshop at the Moscow Printing Factory, came to the factory in 1979. She started as a controller apprentice, received ranks one after another, worked as a controller, substituted a master and worked in a group of dispatchers. In 1995, she became head of a workshop, and still occupies the same position. Raisa Likhatskaya and her husband Andrey Likhatskiy, adjuster of the printing equipment, became the founders of a dynasty. Their son Andrey also works at the Moscow Printing Factory.
Sergey Zhunaev, head of a section at the Moscow Mint of Goznak, has been working at Goznak since 1983. He began as a senior engineer metrologist and advanced to head of the maintenance section. Mechanics, repairers, millers and turners maintain the mechanical part of the technological equipment of the Moscow Mint under Sergey’s supervision every day.
Vladimir Lebedev, a printer of the Moscow Printing Works of Goznak, has been working at the enterprise for over 40 years. He came to Goznak in 1975 after a technical school. He has worked upon various products: lottery tickets, trade union and Komsomol cards, birth and death certificates, vouchers, special products and banknotes. Vladimir Lebedev trained a few generations of printers; many of his former apprentices work together with him today.
On behalf of the several thousand strong team of Goznak we congratulate our colleagues with the well-deserved award and wish them further professional achievements and personal welfare.
